Nature Explorers is a forest school-based programme in Waipawa for tamariki aged 5–14, designed to spark curiosity, confidence, and connection with the natural world. Rooted in experiential learning, our tamariki learn through hands-on activities like bushcraft, nature walks, gardening, and crafts, all while embracing the values of kaitiakitanga and teamwork.

Our outdoor environment encourages unstructured play, creativity, problem-solving, and respect for the land and each other. With a focus on building resilience, environmental awareness, and a love for learning, Nature Explorers is more than just a programme — it’s a community where tamariki thrive.

What to bring: Packed lunch, drink bottle, sunhat, weather-appropriate clothing, and a spirit of adventure!
